If Denver-metro is to become the world-class city it aspires to be, it must prioritize the safety and well-being of its residents.
Will Denver-metro provide economic opportunities for all education and ability-levels or create the conditions for stratification?
Will Denver-metro deliver better health outcomes for all, independent of race and socioeconomic background, or bear the brunt of an over-stressed and physically-limited population?
Will Denver-metro lead in the fight against climate change or suffer from worsening air quality and unbearable temperatures as a heat island?
It can be an equitable, eco-friendly, and healthy region if RTD pursues bold and ambitious policies.
Denver-metro could feature a flourishing regional network of multi-modal travel. A network that would integrate different methods of transportation to optimize its residents’ time and money. A network that would allow residents of all abilities and economic and social backgrounds to navigate this great city.
